Importance Of Zul Hijjah

Importance Of Zul Hijjah: There is no such month in the whole world that can match its significance with the importance of Zul Hijjah. This month holds the basic importance for the fact that during this whole month the Muslim gets the chance to get hold over the house of Allah in Saudia Arabia.
This month marks the arrival of the Hajj happenings. The whole month of Zul Hijjah brings along the passion and zeal in the Muslims for getting closer to the God and makes a fresh and everlasting relationship with the God and Holy Prophet. Those people who perform the Hajj have been named as Pilgrims. This month is even considered to be the month of blessings.
The increased significance of this month is much evident from the fact that those Muslims who cannot offer the prayers or the Hajj they can get the blessings of the God in the first three days because those ten days of the starting are measured to be scared and blissful.
Holy Prophet (PBUH) has stated that: There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.” The people asked, “Not even Jihad for the sake of Allah?” He said, “Not even Jihad for the sake of Allah, except in the case of a man who went out to fight giving himself and his wealth up for the cause, and came back with nothing (Bukhari).
This month even holds the importance of the fasting as well. The process of the fasting is undertaken on the ninth day of the Zul Hijjah. This fast will help the Muslim to clear out all the sins for the next two years. Holy Prophet used to perform the fast each year.

Importance Of Zul Hijjah

This month even symbolizes the arrival of the festival Eid ul Azha that is the day of the sacrifice in the remembrance of the Abraham readiness to sacrifice his own son. In other words, Hajj is the sacrifice of personal comfort and wealth that the pilgrims offer.
On the whole after this detail discussion it has been concluded that all the wholesome experiences of the month of Zul Hijjah are beyond descriptions and discussion as the person would certainly fall short of the words by describing the significance of this month.
It is just about the total and actual purification inward and outward. When the Muslim returns to the sea of daily corruption and impurities ha can easily sail on the boat of faith to the everlasting life of the heaven because God is with him.

However, this banking system was just remaining restricted within the capital cities and major cities of Pakistan and unfortunately the rest of the regions and districts gets unaware from this concept.
"Islamic Banks In Pakistan List"
It was strictly followed in all the Islamic banks to stay away from the borrowing of the money especially from the international banks and make the system free from the interest as it has been told by Islam. The main reason behind creating every single bank as interest free was that the borrower finds it difficult to return the whole amount because the interest rates keeps on increasing every single month.
Secondly, the lenders keep on borrowing the richer at the cost of borrowers. They become the part of the capitalist class and they firmly take the advantage form the economic problems of the needy. This results in the intolerance and difference between the classes in the society that is forcefully restricted in Islam.
The interest free banking was introduced in 1982. This banking system takes the loans from the Islamic countries that are based on the fixed term interest rates. Nevertheless as the Government of Pakistan has been widely expanded in the country and much private banking system has been highlighted therefore it is becoming a strong need for the Islamic banks to forces the attention of the people towards such banks that are free from interest. ZAKAT IN THE QURAN

ZAKAT IN THE QURAN

Zakat is one of the main pillar foundations of Islam. It means growth and purification. According to Holy Quran every Muslim who is able to pay must have to pay the Zakat that is also termed as the economic duty in Islam. It is the most important obligation after Prayers.
Now the question arises that who can pay the Zakat? Anyone, who is adult, Muslim and most importantly rich must have to pay the Zakat at the end of the year. The actual amount of paying the Zakat is approximately two and half percent of the total assets like profit giving bank accounts, government certificates, insurance policies and ornaments.
Now sometimes we often strike down with the question that who should be given Zakat? Zakat should be given to poor people, beggars, debtors, orphans, widows and travellors. The main advantage of the Zakat system is quite obvious that firstly rich and well earning people help the needy and poor people and satisfy their needs and wants. Most importantly through the process of Zakat all the Muslims get the common Islamic feeling of doing their duty with nobly and honestly.
Zakat promotes national unity and happiness towards one another. Through this Zakat we please God and do our economic duty honestly. He blesses us and increases out wealth with blessings. Zakat is proved to be a real blessing if it is used for productive and constructive purposes to the permanent benefit of the poor like establishing centers, schools, and raising residential buildings for the needy people.
Distributing money or commodities amongst the poor and needy directly after taking them from the rich is not enough at all. In the Holy Quran the God has even restricted that every single Muslim must follow this concept of Zakat no matter what is the age of the person. Right from the adult to the aged person the Zakat is a compulsory action.
Zakat can even be carried out from the jewelers as well but this term is just specified for those women who want to pay Zakat but they are self employed. In such situations they can pay the Zakat from their Jewellery. On the whole we would like to make it clear to the readers that if we want to follow Islam sincerely then we have to follow its customs as well. Let’s make the Zakat as the basis of our life. If we make use of this Islamic Institution in intelligent way then the country will definitely change into pure welfare state.

IMPORTANCE OF ZAKAT

IMPORTANCE OF ZAKAT

The building of Islam is built on the five pillars of Islam. Among these five pillars zakat is one of the important pillars of Islam.
The word Zakat is taken from the Arabic language it means the growth and purification. Zakat is the amount which the rich people donate to the poor and needy persons from his wealth to purify it. Zakat is paid on the luggage and wealth which is in the ownership for one year; this includes the gold, silver, cash and the luggage which is extra from the use of a person. As the Salah is the obligation on the person which is mature and have sense, same like zakat is also paid by such persons.
Zakat is necessary to run the economic system of the Islamic society. In the absence of zakat the economic system could not be established. ALLAH Almighty has strictly warned those people who are stable and able to pay zakat but do not pay it. They will be punished in a painful way by the wealth to which they love and do not spend in the way of ALLAH. This also shows the love of stable and rich people with the poor. The method give by ALLAH almighty to show this love and care for the poor is the method of zakat.
If zakat is honestly paid by the rich and wealthy person then the economic system of the Muslim ummah will be most powerful. But today we see that Muslim ummah is in worse economic crises this is due to the fact that very few Muslims feel this obligation and pay zakat honestly and the actual person who deserve this. Moreover zakat should reach to those persons which really deserve for it. The purpose of zakat is also to discourage the accumulation of wealth and distribute it evenly.
On many occasion Quran stresses to pay zakat and many hadiths are also tell us about the obligation of zakat and the method of its distribution. In the times of ruling of the caliph of Islam zakat was collected to the stable persons and used to help the poor and to run the matters of the state. In the time of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (ALLAH be pleases with him) when he saw that people are excusing for payment of zakat then he declared the open fight (Jihad) with the people which will not pay zakat.
The decision of first great caliph of Islam was accurate because the matters of state could be badly disturbed without it. The same step is required to the Muslim rulers of the Muslim countries because without it the economic system will be ruined and could not be stabilized. The shariah court should punish the people and penalties should be on the people who steel zakat. This is in the favour of the state and the person who is eligible to pay zakat.

Banks To Deduct Zakat On 1st Ramadan

Likewise every year this year as well all the banks of Pakistan has decided to withhold Zakat from the bank accounts of the people. This process will be taking place from 1st Ramadan. As the news of Zakat deduction has been announced many people have started retreating their money from their accounts but still many of the account holders have to face the reduction conditions if in case they have their amount secured in their accounts.
It has been stated that the people who have accounted Rs.61,336 in their accounts they will have to get the decrease of 2.5 percent from their bank financial records. In 1980 President of Pakistan Zia ul Haq put forward the basic concept of Zakat and Ushr during his ruling period but now in 2013 people do not feel much satisfied because they are unsure that whether their money will be used for Zakat purposes or not.
Zakat Collected Year 2010-2011
In 2010-2011 the Government of Pakistan collected Rs.3.915 billion in a form of Zakat that was initially used for the services of Bait ul Mall. However, according to the rules of Islam customs those people who have more than Rs.61.339 in their account they are required to pay Zakat whereas it is vital for the person to pay Zakat for maximum one year who have 52 grams of gold with him/her.
